EAC is a full signatory of Washington Accord (WA). EAC establishes the minimum standards for engineering education at the bachelor’s level, as specified in the EAC Engineering Accreditation Manual.
While ETAC is in the process of being a full signatory to Sydney Accord (SA) and Dublin Accord (DA). ETAC was instrumental in ensuring Malaysia’s ETAC accredited engineering technology bachelors’ degree, engineering diploma and engineering technology diploma programmes are substantially equivalent to the SA and DA.
In order to provide continuous education and learning among Instituion of Higher Learning (IHL) and the Evaluation Panel, EAC and ETAC will regularly hold relevant Workshops.
